The outer husk of the coconut provides the raw material for this tough and durable upholstery filling. Loose coir fiber makes an excellent first stuffing, or scrim stuffing for traditional work. By nature coir fiber is course strong and reasonably resilient. It packs and forms well, it can be stitched to a firm strong edge.

Cotton batting is extremely durable when used as a dense padding layer. The dense web of fibers also prevents premature wear of other comfort layers resulting in a product that brings value to the consumer because of its resiliency and reliability. Cotton batting's comfort is legendary. As an insulator, it provides a dense, even layer of padding and allows the spring unit to conform to the body, thus assuring that consumers don't feel the coils. In addition, the thermophysical properties of cotton prevent the unpleasant build-up of body heat, helping to further assure the consumer of a comfortable seating environment.
Our cotton batting is 24oz by 27in wide and weigh approximatley 13lbs. Each roll is approximatley 22ft long.

Paratex equals foam rubber and plastic polyurethane in resilience. It is also non allergenic and resistant to mildew. Paratex can be laminated too any thickness. It conforms to all contours, including sharp bends and edges without separating. Attaching Paratex to the frame offers no difficulty. It can be tacked, stapled, hog ringed or button tuffed.
