The cost for the Hand Caning Class is $125.00. Class sizes are limited to 10 people on a first come basis. A $25.00 non-refundable deposit is due at registration. You may register by phone 972-253-6157 or by mail,  1811 Pilgrim Dr., Irving Tx 75061. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express, and Personal Checks. The balance of the class is due the day of the class. Please make checks payable To Pat Swofford.

 

I will provide all the caning materials for the class.

 

You need to bring a chair that has holes drilled around the seat rim. Try to bring a chair that has a square seat. Round, bowed and other shapes take more time.

Tools that you need to bring;

Scissors or nail clippers.

Medium Sized flat head screw driver.

Small awl or ice pick.

 

You will learn how to determine the size of cane you need and the seven step weaving process.

Wear work cloths because you will be getting close and personal with your chair, also you have to soak the cane so you will get a little wet.
